In this drag-horror-romance-comedy, a hapless trucker is smitten by a mysterious hitchhiker. When she proves more Satanic than sweet, he runs for his life, but not before she hits him with a curse. Despite flood, fire, and pie shortages, he decides love is worth the trouble. He returns to his blood-thirsty boo, whose evil heart is melted by his kiss. Or is it?

Director Biography – Sibyl O’Malley
Wigz ‘N’ Thingz is the creativity factory that is Sibyl O’Malley and Dominique Dibbell. Esteemed queer artists in their own right, Sibyl and Dominique come together to make digital content that uplifts, amuses, and casts a side eye at the dominant paradigm.
Director Statement
In this collaborative project, we were inspired by the online art project Gothtober.com to create a short work around the theme of haunted truck stop. It was a rich prompt to explore ideas around the perils and pleasures of love and our fascination with drag in all directions.
