Director Biography – Emmanuelle Roberge
Inspired by her travels and a decade of living on the Magdalen Islands, Emmanuelle Roberge, with her loyal cameras, settles down in the Cantons-de-l’est, Quebec, in 2015. Passionate about culture and society, her artistic approach as an inter-disciplinary artist revolves around the subject and their environment. Attracted by the unusual and paradoxal nature of her surroundings, she scrutinizes common spaces, landscapes, objects and gestures, looking for traces of what it means to be human.
