Director Statement
Jo Vannicola’s powerful story Trashed speaks to those who live, and sometimes die, outside the margins of society; queer, homeless, those who have been forgotten. These queer stories are real and common, and need to be told with a clear eye in the hopes that perhaps we see ourselves in the suffering of others.
