Director BIO: Alex Ko (THE YELLOW DRESS)

Alex Ko is a Chinese-American filmmaker based in Paris, France working in the French language. Ko has written and directed three short films including: Ça Va (2016), The Duck (2017) which screened at the 22nd Motovun Film Festival, and The Yellow Dress (2019). Ko is currently developing his first feature length film.

Director Statement

“The Yellow Dress is the story of a child who attempts to bring his family back together with a single gesture — rooted in expression, perceptions of identity, and unconditional love.” – Alex Ko
