Yuchen Fang (English Name Bobby) is a director, writer and editor who currently lives in CA, USA, but grew up in China. Yuchen came to the USA when he was 20. He is currently an international student at the New York Film Academy. “After School” is a film he made as part of his BFA filmmaking program.
Director Statement
Basically, in this film I want to talk about the relationship between straight people and LGBTQ people. I want to show that even if the sexual orientation is different, people can still be friends. I wish people could have more self-identification after watching this film. And know more about LGBTQ people that they are just normal people.
