Leigh Rivenbark is an award-winning gay Canadian director, writer, actor, and artistic producer. For the past 25 years, he has worked in theatres throughout North America such as the National Arts Centre, the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Citadel Theatre, and Neptune Theatre. He is the former Artistic Producer of one of Canada’s leading regional theatre companies, Theatre New Brunswick. His credits include The Rocky Horror Show, Heathers, Chicago, A Chorus Line, Cats, Tuesdays With Morrie, Songs for a New World, The World Goes ‘Round, and Side by Side by Sondheim. Breathing Through a Straw is his debut film.
