Max Westerman is a Dutch journalist who spent much of his professional life in the United States. For fifteen years, until 2006, he was the U.S. correspondent of RTL4 Dutch Television and covered all the major stories from that period, including four presidential elections and the 9/11 attacks. He hosted four TV series and wrote two best-sellers about the U.S. My Friend, The Mayor is the first documentary he filmed, produced and directed.
